Welcome to the Master’s Program in Cybersecurity

The Master’s Program in Cybersecurity at the Libyan International University (LIMU) is a pioneering and distinguished program, offered through a strategic partnership with the Italian UniNettuno University of Rome.

This program is considered the first of its kind within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, at the Libyan International University, and across Libya, whether offered independently or within an international academic cooperation framework.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the Libyan International University, in partnership with UniNettuno University of Rome, offers a two-year full-time Master’s program in Cybersecurity at its campus in Benghazi. The program focuses on developing students’ advanced analytical and digital defense skills, enabling them to become highly qualified leaders and specialists in the field of network and information security locally and regionally.

Features of this joint program:

• Innovative curriculum: Designed collaboratively by Libyan experts and experts from the partner university.
• Blended teaching system: Conducted in the university’s specialized cybersecurity laboratories, with virtual opportunities via international networks.
• International faculty: Students are taught by Libyan professors from within Libya, as well as experts from the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with Italian professors from Italy.

By combining solid theoretical foundations with practical application according to global best practices, the program includes theoretical courses and applied learning experiences in cybersecurity fields, including but not limited to digital forensics, ethical penetration testing, network security, and data security.
